StreetProjections 2020
For more than a hundred years, the genre of street photography has fascinated and enthused people. In countless styles and variations, photographers from all over the world show us their view of the everyday life of societies and inspire their audience. Poetic or abstract, playful or formalistic, emphatic or ironic, timeless or brand new.
To celebrate street photography in 2020, we were looking for the best, most beautiful, exciting, and funny pictures of the street.
For the fourth time already, PhotoWerkBerlin brings street photography back to the street with StreetProjections.
With nighttime projections on the pavement of the Kurfürstendamm, one of the most vivid and historical streets in Berlin, different realities of life from all over the world become visible in an urban context.
The 10 best photographers have been selected by a renowned jury in a competition and presented in the context of the European Month of Photography.
We are proud to announce the winners of StreetProjections 2020.
